Founded in 1959, Mercy Health- Marcum and Wallace Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital in Irvine, Kentucky, about 45 miles southeast of Lexington. We're Kentucky's first Level IV Trauma Center, certified by The Joint Commission® as an Acute Heart Attack Ready hospital, and recognized as one of the Top 100 Great Community Hospitals by Becker's Hospital Review. Combined with a wide breadth of services ranging from primary care to specialty care – including cardiology, urology, podiatry, neurology, and pulmonology – and our community-centric atmosphere, our goal is the same as it was over 70 years ago when we were founded: to provide quality care to the people in our community.
